Par ce projet j’ai cherché à déstructurer le calendrier traditionnellement segmenté mois par mois. Les différentes largeurs de feuilles superposées permettent de deviner les teintes et textures des mois suivants. Ainsi, un mois en amène au autre et chaque mois révèle le suivant. La rareté est évoquée ici au travers de pierres précieuses photographiées et retravaillées numériquement.
I have destructured the traditional month-by-month calendar by considering the year as a whole and not as twelve entities. I used superposed paper allowing the reader to guess the tints and textures of the coming months. In this way each month reveals the next. Rarity is evoked through photographs of precious stones and digital techniques. This work allowed me to transform the stones into abstract images where the viewer can imagine his or her own story.
